Our goal is simple: give readers useful, experience-based information and honest opinions. Sending us a product does not guarantee coverage, a publication date, or a positive review.
Please contact us before shipping anything. We travel frequently, so advance coordination helps make sure a product can be received, tested properly, and handled as intended.

We generally prefer products we can actually use in the environment for which they were designed. A scuba product may be taken underwater. Marine equipment may be exposed to saltwater and normal boat conditions. Cameras may be mounted, carried, submerged when rated for it, and used during real trips. Normal wear can occur during legitimate testing.
Before You Send a Product

- Company and brand name
- Product name and model
- Website or product-page link
- Current retail price
- A brief explanation of why you believe it fits Gypsea Bleu
- Whether the product is being provided free, discounted, loaned, or as part of a paid campaign
- Whether you expect the product to be returned
- Any requested publication window or embargo date
- Any affiliate-program or sponsorship information
- Important setup, compatibility, safety, or testing instructions
Please wait for written confirmation from us before sending a product. Oversized, hazardous, regulated, perishable, unusually valuable, or difficult-to-ship products require advance approval.

Do not ship a product without contacting us first. Because we travel, an unplanned shipment may not be available to us when expected.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the sender is responsible for outbound shipping, adequate packaging, insurance, customs charges, import fees, duties, and other shipping-related costs. If a review unit must be returned, return requirements must be agreed to before shipment and the sender should provide appropriate prepaid return shipping.
No Guarantee of a Review
Acceptance of a shipment does not guarantee that the product will be reviewed, featured, photographed, filmed, mentioned on social media, included on YouTube, or otherwise published.
There are many reasons we may decide not to publish coverage, including insufficient testing time, compatibility problems, safety concerns, a product not fitting our audience, a product failing during testing, travel schedules, or simply determining that we do not have enough useful information to produce a worthwhile review.
We do not promise a specific rating or outcome in exchange for receiving a product.
Our Reviews Are Independent
Providing a product does not purchase editorial control.
Our reviews may include:
- What we like
- What we do not like
- Pros and cons
- Performance issues
- Problems or failures we experience
- Complaints reported by other owners when relevant and appropriately identified
- Comparisons with competing products
- Who we think the product is best suited for
- Whether we would personally buy or recommend it
Brands may provide factual specifications, manuals, technical corrections, or clarifications. However, unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise, brands do not receive approval rights over our opinions, conclusions, ratings, photographs, videos, headlines, or final review before publication.
Free Products, Sponsorships, and FTC Disclosures
If a company gives us a free or discounted product, pays us, provides travel or another benefit, or otherwise has a material relationship with Gypsea Bleu, we intend to disclose that relationship clearly with the relevant content.

Loaner and Returnable Review Units
If a product is being provided only as a temporary loaner, that must be clearly agreed to before it is shipped.
Please tell us:
- How long the product may be retained for testing
- The expected return date
- Whether original packaging must be preserved
- Any restrictions on installation or normal use
- Who is responsible for return shipping and insurance
Returnable equipment should include or be followed by prepaid and appropriately insured return-shipping arrangements unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Products used for legitimate testing may show normal signs of use. If a product cannot be subjected to normal real-world testing, that restriction must be disclosed before we agree to receive it.
Unsolicited Products
Please do not send unsolicited products.
We cannot guarantee review, publication, storage, testing, tracking, or return of items sent without prior written acceptance. If an unsolicited shipment arrives, contact us promptly so we can determine how it should be handled.
Safety-Critical Products
Products involving scuba life-support equipment, electrical systems, batteries, marine safety, lifting, navigation, emergency equipment, or other safety-critical uses may require additional documentation or testing considerations.
Manufacturers should provide current instructions, warnings, compatibility requirements, certifications, recalls, service requirements, and other safety information that a reasonable user should know.
We reserve the right to stop testing a product if we believe continued use could be unsafe or could damage property.
Product Claims and Technical Information
Please provide accurate and current specifications. If a company makes performance, safety, environmental, medical, technical, or other objective claims, it should be able to support those claims.
Gypsea Bleu may distinguish between manufacturer claims and what we personally observe during testing.
Photos, Video, and Media
Gypsea Bleu may photograph or film products we review for use on our website, YouTube channel, social-media accounts, and other Gypsea Bleu platforms.
Unless separately agreed in writing, original photographs, video, written reviews, graphics, and other content created by Gypsea Bleu remain Gypsea Bleu content. Brands are welcome to link to or share links to published reviews. Commercial reuse of our original photographs, video, or written material requires permission.
If you provide press photographs, logos, videos, or other media to us, please only provide material that you have authority to permit us to use in connection with potential editorial coverage.
Corrections After Publication
If you believe a published review contains an incorrect technical specification or other factual error, email us with the article URL, the specific information you believe is incorrect, and supporting documentation.
We are happy to review legitimate factual corrections. A disagreement with our opinion, rating, or conclusion is not necessarily a factual error.
